2Checkout Restricted User

2Checkout allows you to create Restricted Users that can access your 2Checkout account but with limited permissions.

As a Restricted User, softWORKZ Technical Support can help you quickly configure your 2Checkout Products and account to connect to software_DNA, and provide any other assistance required to ensure a smooth integration.

You control the permissions allowed to this account and can remove it at any time.

To create a Restricted User account in 2Checkout:

  • click on the Settings icon (top right-hand), and select User Management
  • select the View Roles tab, and click on Add Role

  • in the Add Role page, enter a Role Name (ex: softworkz) and select the following privileges:
    • All the Setup privileges
    • None of the Account Settings privileges
    • None of the Marketing Tools privileges
    • None of the Partners Management privileges
    • The following privileges from the Orders & Reports:
      • View and search estore order data
      • Customer Support - estore
      • Blank and partial searches for estore
      • API Logs
      • Subscription management
    • Click on Save
    Defining a User Role
  • once the Role is defined, click on the View Users tab, and click on Add User
    Adding a User
  • enter the following information:
    • for User Name, we recommend the following to ensure it is unique:

      <your company name>@softworkz.com

    • for Email : support@softworkz.com
    • for Name, you can use Support, softworkz
    • Select the role defined above for softworkz
    • Let 2Checkout generate a random password
    • Click on Save
    Define a User

Once created, 2Checkout will send out an email to softWORKZ with the account access information
