DNA_UseIESettings() API

DNA_UseIESettings(Use_IESettings)

Parameters Description
<Use_IESettings>

Determines what Proxy Server Settings will be used:

The Proxy Server settings containted in the local "DNA.INI" file will be used.

The "DNA.INI" file is created by the DNA_SetProxy API Call and located in the location set by the DNA_SetINIPathName API Call.

Default Setting

The DNA Library will use the browser Proxy Server settings (ex: Internet Explorer settings)

The DNA Library will automatically capture and use the Proxy Settings of the brower or Internet Explorer on the user’s computer. Use this API call to override this default and have proxy settings stored and recovered from a separate "DNA.INI" local file created by the DNA_SetProxy API Call.

This should be used if the software will be running in "Service Mode".

The location of the "DNA.INI" local file is determined by the DNA_SetINIPathName API call, and should be called before the DNA_SetProxy and DNA_Use_IESettings API calls.
